NMLL provides accredited and pre-accredited English classes and Digital Literacy classes to the local CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) community. NMLL also have a strong community development program which aims to engage our local culturally and linguistically diverse community in a variety of ways. In particular NMLL’s community development activities aim to enhance and work with our community’s strengths, interests and addressing priority issues.

The Everybody’s Business program at NMLL is now recruiting volunteer mentors to help guide refugee and migrant women starting their own microbusiness in Australia. The role of the Volunteer Mentor – Everybody’s Business Program – is to give support and advice in the context of product and business development for participants of the NMLL microbusiness course. We are looking for people with good business planning skills and an ability to impart knowledge with women from culturally and linguistically diverse background. -Details here.
