SUMMARY:Weaving Workshop
DESCRIPTION: \nLearn the traditional basket weaving techniques of Burundi\, Africa\, and make a simple pair of earrings or a coaster to take home. Participants will learn the skills to continue on weaving projects at home. The instructors are Colodetha and Victoria from Sisterworks\, a non-profit social enterprise which supports women who are migrants\, asylum seekers or refugees to become financially independent and happily settled in Australia. \nThe evening will include a delicious meal of Injera bread and traditional curries.
