Microbusiness_volunteer_mentor_postcard

A major part contributing to the success of any business person is mentoring and NMLL recognises that for our participants to reach their goals, we need to provide targeted mentoring. This element of the Micro Business project seeks to provide participants not only with the business support they require at the various start-up stages, but also to open networking opportunities which would be typically closed to our participants.

Our mentors typically meet with a mentee once a fortnight for a planning session/chat/coffee. Participants are not assigned to one mentor for the duration of the program but have the freedom to seek out our mentors based on the need and stage of their business planning. We have mentors specialising in start-ups, finance and accounting, marketing, regulation, networking… the list goes on!
